INDOOR REQUIREMENTS

We use an open-air setup, which is perfect for engaging the crowd! The glam booth is equipped with a pro-grade DSLR camera, 13” touch screen, modeling light, and beauty flash. The full indoor setup includes the photo booth with printer, backdrop, and an extra social sharing station. Most indoor set-ups also include two tables [6-foot (30”x72”) and 4-foot (24” x 48”)], prop bins, hat rack, and retractable banner. Popular add-ons include second printer and red carpet and stanchions.

VENUE

Outdoor booth setup

The glam booth requires a space of at least 9’x9’x9’ (preferably 10’x10’x10’), plus additional space for optional prop tables [6-foot, 4-foot], prop bins, and hat rack. The chosen location should be reasonably accessible to guests, against a wall (preferably in a corner), on level/solid ground, and within 10 feet of a properly installed and grounded power outlet (110V, 20 amps, 3 prong).

LIGHTING

For best results, the location should have adequate lighting. Although the photo booth can operate effectively in low-light situations, photo quality may suffer somewhat in darker conditions. Green screen events in particular require ample lighting. If possible, the booth should not be placed in front of a window or doorway, in a high traffic area, or directly under recessed/canned lights.

WIFI/CELLULAR

The photo booth’s instant sharing features (i.e., sharing to email, text, and social media) require 4G cellular service and/or an internet connection of at least (1MB). In cases where the venue does not have adequate cellular service or WIFI, we will still be able to print via our hotspot. Additionally, the software will queue text messages and emails and send them as soon as we have adequate WIFI access.

OUTDOOR REQUIREMENTS

In addition to the requirements listed above, outdoor locations should be adequately protected from the wind, weather, and direct sunlight. We can provide a 10’x10’ canopy tent and/or power generator for a $75 fee. The full outdoor setup typically includes shelter or tent (required), generator (as needed), photo booth with printer, premium pillowcase backdrop, 4-foot table, and extra social sharing station. We typically do not bring props to outdoor events, unless specifically requested. Props require adequate shelter from the weather.
